Note: When I say realistic, I don't mean likely, I just mean plausible. So let us begin.
We start with our own pick. Cleveland decides they want an NBA ready player, so they take Parker. The Bucks go for Embiid, and we land our dream man- Wiggins. It's all logical. Do I THINK this will happen? No. But can I see it? Absolutely.
Next- immediately after this, we fabricate a deal with Chicago to absorb a ton of their huge contracts (Boozer, Dunleavy, etc.) and acquire their 16 and 19 picks. Obviously, we send them some 2nd rounders. Hopefully, we can pull it off without giving away Thad, and here's why.
NEXT- we trade Thad and the 16th pick (as well as 2nds, why the hell not?) to the Kings for the 8th overall pick, as well as absorbing more contracts. (Sidenote- Absord ALL of the contracts, we have plenty of space, and let's be honest, there are no free agents this year worth it [no, Gordon Heyward is not worth it, get that out of your minds people]).
So now, to recap, we have the 8th, 10th, and 19th pick. As well as Wiggins
With the 8th, we hope to grab either Gordon, Vonleh, or Randle (if he somehow drops). Personally prefer Gordon, but i'll take any of them.
With the 10th, we snag Harris or Stauskas (I personally really like Harris, in the end, I trust Hinkie)
And with the 19th, who knows who will be left, but perhaps Warren, Payne, Hood, Hairston? Once again, Hinkie knows best.
This young team won't make the playoffs (which is good), we keep our 1st round pick next year, and well, the rest is history
Once again, I'm not expecting this, but realistically, it COULD happen, knowing Hinkie, and his wizardness. Let me know what you guys think
