Sixers will be drafting at picks 3 and 10 per the lottery. Why not make some moves to move up from those spots?
Cleveland has already come out saying that they are willing to trade the 1st overall pick. Who knows how true that really is but if the Sixers want to guarantee drafting Wiggins, they can make a deal.
Sixers send 3rd pick and 10th pick
Cavaliers send: 1st overall pick
Simple as that right? Well, what about that 2nd top 10 pick that we just gave away?
Sixers send: Thad and a 2nd round pick
Levin has already discussed trading Thad and a 2nd rounder for the Kings' 8th overall pick and say Jason Thompson. Kings want a veteran player but would they really give up a chance at Vonleh, Gordan, or Randle? Hypothetically doing this trade would give the Sixers the 1st and 8th and still 4 2nd rounders.
But, we could also do the Kings trade and keep the 3 and 10 picks.
Would you rather have...
A) 3rd pick (Chance at Wiggins), 10th, Thad
B) 1st pick (Wiggins), 8th pick (One of Vonleh, Randle, or Gordan)
C) 3rd pick (Chance at Wiggins), 8th pick (One of Vonleh, Randle, or Gordan), and 10th pick (Harris, Stauskas, or LaVine)
