Hey guys, I know that you have probably been flooded with what we could be next year and I'm here to add another one (sorry).
Anyway, I believe that our current core consists of -
C: Nerlens Noel
As you can see Thad is clearly an outlier as the oldest player in our core. Out of the many many people we signed this year, the ones worth keeping (in my opinion) are: Hollis; James Anderson; Henry Sims and Maybe Elliott Williams. Because Henry Sims can hit a midrange jump shot I think that pairing him with Noel could be a great front court duo. Now through the Draft we can fill the remaining two holes (SG and SF). As I have stated many times in the comments I really don't like Jabari and think we will bust for a lack of explosiveness. So let's say for the sake of this article that we can snag Wiggins with our first pick. Then with the Pelicans pick we can draft a SG like Harris or Stauskas. Then I believe we should send thad to a team like the bulls and take Jerami Grant for his upside at their one of their picks.
That would leave the lineup as:
SG: Harris/Stauskas (Leaning towards harris here for increased upside)
6: Tony Wroten
7: Jerami Grant
8: James Anderson
11: A second round pick (Nick Johnson?)
12: A second round pick (Isaiah Austin?)
I understand this isn't written very well but I just wanted to get my ideas out there quickly.
