sixers going big for charity

So while I regularly read posts on this site, I've never actually made a fanpost, and I probably never will again. However, something happened that I thought needed to be shared here. My husband was at a charity golf outing today in honor of someone who died in 9/11. Many prizes were raffled off to raise money. Each of the Philadelphia teams included an autographed photo of a player with a pair of tickets. However, the sixers included only a signed picture of Arnett Moultrie, no tickets. Clearly none could be spared during the upcoming sell-out season. (haha). My husband said that there were quite a few desirable raffle items that had many people entering tickets, so he threw a few into the Moultire basket, knowing I would be amused to receive this prize. The best part of the whole story is that apparently there was a little kid hanging around the Moultrie pic that kept telling his dad how much he really wanted to win it. You will be happy to know that this little kid is the one who won the item. It would make this post cooler if I could attach the said photo with this post, but hey. I felt like maybe this story would amuse a few of you out there like it did me.
