Okay, this is just me spit balling and winging my first post. The thought process for the aforementioned acquisition is one of those "it'll help in the long run" type of trades. In this trade we receive Jeremy Lamb, PJ3, and Kendrick "Projectile Vomit" Perkins. We give up Thadeus as well as Moultrie. Now, many people turn their head to the idea of giving up Thad for two unproven commodities and a proven commodity (just so happens to prove he's horrendous) but, Lamb and PJ3 are HUGE upside guys. You get a shooting guard with solid size and length who could afford to bulk up, with a silky smooth jumper and a knack for scoring the ball. We would also receive a power forward with crazy length, an above average handle for a 6'11 guy with an improving jump shot. The Thunder could bring Thad off the bench for energy, D, and offense or start him and move Ibaka to the five and embrace the small ball line up that was so popularized by some team called the Heat. This, in all honesty, contributes mostly to "Tank city b*tch, tank, tank city b*tch" (too clever, I know.) We lose a solid contributor to wins in Thad, but gain two potential stars or at least legit NBA starters. Like I said just a pipe dream of mine that I'd love to see happen. Let me know if you think this is straight bonkers or a steal or if you have any variations that weren't mentioned. Oh, here's the link for the man, the myth, the legend: The ESPN Trade Machine.
