The Flyers might be Philly’s No. 1 — only? — hope for the next few years. And they haven’t won more than one playoff series in three of the past four seasons (losing in the 2009-10 Stanley Cup Finals to the Blackhawks).

Believe it or not, the last time none of the four Philly pro teams made the playoffs was the 1991-92 school year. Unless the Flyers can surge and get there, it’s about to happen again.
