The 76ers were able beat the Bobcats, who have the worst defensive in the league, winning by a score of 87-76 . They were led by Lavoy Allen, who scored 14 points to go along with a career high 22 rebounds.
After an epically bad first half that saw the 76ers score 38 points and shoot 37% from the floor against the worst defensive team in the league, the 76ers game out in the third quarter and outscored the Bobcats 25-17 in the 3rd, giving the 76ers some breathing room.
Jrue Holiday scored 6 points to go along with 3 assists in the quarter, with the team getting contributions from Lavoy Allen (6 points, rebounds in the frame), Jeremy Pargo (6 points) and Arnett Moultrie (3 points, 3 rebounds).
On the game, Jeremy Pargo provided a big lift in his first game with the 76ers, finishing with 12 points and 6 assists in his first game with the team.. Lavoy Allen had a career night, finishing with 14 points to go along with a career high 22 rebounds. Arnett Moultrie continued to provide a lift, finishing with 3 points (2 fouls drawn!) and 7 rebounds in under 14 minutes.
Jrue Holiday and Evan Turner finished with 20 and 16 points respectively, but shot just a combined 17-40 from the field.
