Shots at the rim vs mid-range shots

One thing it seems like Sixers fans have been complaining about for a while now in the Doug Collins era is the Sixers preference to take mid-range shots instead of taking it to the rim. Most like to blame Collins but I disagree I think its more on personnel. When your two starting big men for the most part are jump shooters(Hawes & Brand) you are not going to get as many shots at the rim as you'd like, also because we are all frustrated with Bynum being out we should remember DC wanted this to change this year but he's been stuck with Hawes & Allen as his centers two jump shooting bigs.

Anyways here is each players #s on the team at the rim & mid range

Player At the rim mid-range

Evan Turner 1.8-3.7 48.6% 3-7.4 41%

Spencer Hawes 2.1-3.9 55.2% 1.8-4.3 41%

Dorell Wright 0.6-1.5 45.9% 0.3-1.1 35%
