The Phoenix Suns were great tonight!

Yes it's preseason. Yes they played a foreign team. Yes it was the Maccabi Haifa. Regardless the Suns shot 62.5% from the field. They won easily 130-89. Eric Bledsoe looked really good, he and Dragic worked really well in the backcourt. They shot a combined 16-22 for 38 points.

Don't believe me? Here's the box score: http://espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=400491502

To me this is interesting because the Suns are our number one enemy for worst in the league next year. The Suns also look like they're trying to be really bad. They let Beasley go for nothing and also didn't spend a lot this year instead trying to test some young kids. Their starting lineup is Dragic, Bledsoe, Tucker, Markieff Morris, and Gortat. They already have some young pieces on the bench with good potential, Alex Len. This year in free agency they will also have the money to offer a top free agent. To me they're really also looking for that #1 pick and Andrew Wiggins.

So the Suns looked really good tonight. Hopefully they can do more of that during the regular season so we can get the best chance for that coveted #1 overall pick.
