I guess, with how sick Jrue has been playing and getting his All-Star, we feel good about the team in the moment so to speak. But there's been a lot of back and forth previously about whether this season was all for naught and whether we should be tank tank tanking away.

But with Rondo done for the season, the Thad/Jrue combo being awesome, and Bynum seemingly on track to give us at least two months, surely that gives us enough reason and belief that we will be playing playoffs and any tanking aspirations should also be void.

I guess you could look at making the playoffs as a pointless exercise if we lose in the first round, and Miami take our pick, but then I look at the East and all you can really call the teams in it is less than intimidating.

Again, a lot of this is wishful thinking but the temptation to think at what this team could potentially be by the end of the season, is too exciting to not want to see it happen in favour of a lottery pick. I totally want to see what a Jrue/Swag/Evan/Thad/Bynum lineup could do against Miami or New York in a 7 game series.
