This season has me feeling apathetic about the current standings and the upcoming games. I'm more interested in seeing how this roster will get rebuilt.
1. Thaddeus Young, Evan Turner, and a 2013 bottom 16 protected 1st round draft pick for Kevin Love.
Both ET and Thad are 24 years old and they average a combined 29 points and 15 rebounds. The main trading piece is the draft pick which should be a top 5 pick this summer. The Sixers are giving up their 2nd and 3rd best players on their roster, and are getting back Kevin Love who is coming off hip surgery and is expected to miss 2-3 months this season. Bynum won't be back till the all-star break and probably won't be healthy. This means a starting starting Spence, which should make the Sixers one OF 5 worst teams in the NBA. This doesn't seem like a fair trade for Minnesota but they're getting three good young pieces for a disgruntled player.
2. Jason Richardson for Luke Ridnour
I think this is a solid trade for both teams. Minnesota gets a quality starter in Jason Richardson at SG while the Sixers get the backup PG they desperately need. It also benefits the Sixers because Ridnour's contract end a year earlier than Richardson's.
3. Nick Young and Damien Wilkins for Shawn Marion
The Mavericks want to make a big free agent signing this summer but they might not have the cap space to do so because of Shawn Marion's $9 million player option for next year. They might have a contract set in place for next year for Marion in order to have him opt out but if they don't this might be a good option. Shawn Marion is a good defender and would make a good veteran presence for the Sixers.
4. Dorell Wright for Omri Cassipi
Cassipi wants to be traded and Wright can shoot 3s. Even trade for both teams
5. Arnett Moultrie and Nick Young for Timofey Mozgov
