At 10 AM this morning, the Sixers released single game tickets to the public.
Well, not the whole public. Just for people like me who are on the Sixers.com mailing list. So I went ahead and purchase some SG tickets for the second straight season. One thing I love about the new ownership is the willingness to cater to poor young folk like me by charging affordable prices for upper level seats and lower level end seats. I'm not ready drop 75+ dollars yet for seats, but I'm always down for the 10-20 dollar bleacher seat. Bought a few last season and saw the Bucks, Pacers, Clippers, and Celtics. In case you're wondering, 3 wins and a loss.
The first priority for me was being at the season opener to see Bynum-ite....BYNUMITE (You gotta sing it like the Black Dynamite theme. It kinda works). So, like an idiot, I went down the list and bought tickets for the first home game I saw, not seeing the
1) obvious PRESEASON label next to the opponent Boston
2) Not remembering that the home opener involves Iggy and the speedy Nuggets
At least a friend and I can treat ourselves to serious hot and sweaty Maalik Wayns playing time!
I went ahead a bought a singular ticket for the real opener and a lower level ticket for a November clash with Kyrie and the Cavaliers.
Anybody else planning to get tickets?
