Chris Paul is scheduled to become an UFA in 2013. I highly doubt he leaves the Clippers, but let me throw a hypothetical out there.

If the Sixers are able to move a contract or two (maybe Thad/Hawes) and don't re-sign Holiday. There should be enough cap space to offer the max to CP3. If they were able to make this happen, this would be their projected starting 5:

Paul

Richardson

Turner

Thad/Hawes

Bynum

Or would you rather re-sign Holiday, make some deals to create space and go after a player like James Harden or Josh Smith?

I'd much rather keep Holiday in town and go after some other FA's. However, A Paul-Bynum 1-2 punch might be the best in the NBA and that would be tough to turn down.

I didn't really take too much time to attach this from all angles, but I just wanted to float this out there and see what you guys think. Are you signing what most people consider the best pg in the NBA, or are you letting this young sixers core grow together?
