What if they got a star...

Let's pretend that the Sixers play their strictly mediocre ball next year, and finish in the 6-8 range, and make the playoffs. Say Jrue and Turner make some positive progress, and things are looking good for the future. We have money and spend, and for some reason a star such as (Howard, Bynum, Smith) take their talents to Philly.

How good would we be?

Lets pretend In a perfect world the Jrue, Turner, Iggy combo all mesh well and they form a nice nucleus, while the rooks show positive development and ready to contribute in year two. Now we have a stud (insert here) and he now puts a formidable lineup of 2 rising players, one established "star" and a great supporting cast. Does this rubric of traits for. Team bring contention?

Of course this isn't a perfect world, and we are just pretending. I would just like to think this is clearly Philadelphia's plan for this season and next offseason, now whether they can do it or not is obvious (no)

But if they did...
