Here is a portion of the story:
Four years ago, Duke's Mike Krzyzewski, who coached the U.S. team to a gold medal with Blue Devils’ associate head coach Chris Collins (Doug’s son) on his staff, asked Collins to speak to the 2008 U.S. squad at training camp in Las Vegas before it left for Beijing.
After the group watched the final 10 seconds of the 1972 game, Collins' message was simple.
“ 'Don’t let this moment slip away',” Collins said, noting the U.S. settled for bronze in 2004.
