Thorn said Tuesday night that it’s “probably not” likely that the Sixers will trade for a power forward.

Thorn also denied a rumor that the Sixers planned to sign free agent power forward Carl Landry to a one-year deal.

J.J. Hickson is on the relatively unimpressive list of free agent power forwards. The Spurs’ DeJuan Blair could be available in a trade and has a relatively low salary ($1.05 million).
