Chad Ford released the sixth version of his 2012 NBA mock draft today. A familiar name was selected with the 15th pick.
15. Terrence Ross, Shooting Guard, Washington
Analysis: The Sixers might have a tough choice here between Ross and Moultrie. The team needs size, but they also need shooting. Ross has very good size for his position and would give the Sixers a starting caliber sniper, which they've long lacked.
Ford had Ross slotted to the Sixers in seemingly ever pre-lottery mock draft.
I like Ross, either as the starting two – between Jrue and Iguodala or Jrue and Turner – or off the bench. However; I don't see too much of a difference between him and a guy like Doron Lamb, late in the first.
Here are the notable guys Ford projects the Sixers to pass on for Ross's services: Arnett Moultrie, Kendall Marshall, Austin Rivers and Meyers Leonard.
