Thorn, the Sixers president, coach Doug Collins, senior VP Tony DiLeo, director of player personnel Courtney Witte and the team’s scouts believe that the Sixers can get an immediate contributor if they stay at 15.

“If you take (top pick Anthony) Davis out of the mix, there’s some guys that can be really good players, but there’s not a heck of a lot of difference (between them),” Thorn said. “I think this is a good time to be (from) 10 to 20. There’s some good players in there maybe turn out to be as good as some of the guys taken a little bit higher."
