Ok, I understand that you're worried about the Sixers, but stop jerking off on the draft for a few minutes to consider what it would take for the Sixers to win a championship, which right now would mean having to beat both Miami and OKC.
Anyone watching would have seen Miami, a team without a real center destroy the Thunder who I thought man for man had more talent. Well Miami upended years of tradition by shooting outside 3 pointers and making the majority of them like they were layups. That and a swarming defense which meant that the other team's ballhandlers had to be ready to pass as soon as they took their first dribble. LeBron was unstoppable, the refs made sure of that, and OKC could not find a way to score enough points to stay in the game.
I'm not sure about how you see it, but to beat Miami you have to play like them, only better. The Sixers do have the athleticism to stay with Miami, but not the scoring ability. We need to add more and better shooters, people who can bomb away from the outside and shoot an outrageous percentage. And people willing to work hard on every possession gang-rebounding trying to steal the ball everytime and get an easy basket. Miami always gets back, they work very hard.
