“I think I can provide some shooting ability (by making) some 3s, midrange (jumpers), pull-ups and score down low,” Ross said. “I think that’s something they need help with. I think I’d be a perfect fit.”
During end-of-session drills, Ross hit seven of nine 3-pointers from straightaway, then started slow from the baseline before knocking down his last three.
“He’s not Reggie Miller, but he’s a shooter and he’s a scorer,” said Sixers director of player personnel Courtney Witte. “He’ll knock down the outside shot. He’s a guy that’s going to have a long-time NBA career."
