Garnett, a 17th-year pro, has played more than 50,000 minutes, counting the regular season and playoffs.

“I think it probably benefits them,” said Collins after Sunday’s practice. “Those guys have played a ton of minutes. I think being at home, I’m sure Doc (Rivers) gave them plenty of rest. I’m sure they’ll be ready with a lot of energy in Game 5.”

The Celtics also went right from a tough six-game series victory over the Hawks right into facing the Sixers. Each team only had one day off between their first-round clinchers and the opener of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
