Announcement: Liberty Ballers to Become Milwaukee Bucks Blog

This is our mascot.

It's been 4.5 good years of rooting for the Sixers, but the time has come for a change.

It is with a heavy heart that I bring the news to you that no longer will Liberty Ballers be affiliated in any way with the Philadelphia 76ers franchise. Instead, we will switch allegiances to the Milwaukee Bucks starting today. I don't want to name names or point fingers about the past, but instead celebrate the time we had with the Sixers. The drafting of Herbert Hill, the Eddie Jordan era, and Toastioni are all memories we'll all treasure for the rest of our lives.

But we must look to the future. And it is a bright one. One filled with Brandon Jennings. And Monta Ellis. And Beno Udrih. No longer will we be reporting Evan Turner's mystery problems or Spencer Hawes haircuts or keeping track of Louis Williams Boss Iso's. All of our efforts will be to support our Bucks in their quest to become NBA Champions out of the 8-seed this season. Check in with our Bucks partners in Bucksing at Brew Hoop.

Jordan, Tanner, Derek, Dave, and I all appreciate the contributions from all of you in your steadfast support of this franchise and this blog. We invite you to join us in Milwaukee for some beer and cheese as we root our mighty Bucks on from here until eternity.

Thank you for everything. We'll see you in Milwaukee.
