Message-board responses and twitter traffic are down considerably over the past two months.
Perhaps the fans grasp how unlikely it is that the Sixers will win a playoff series for the first time since 2003 (Larry Brown's last year here).
Expectations, raised by — and perhaps somewhat unrealistic based on — the strong start, are down again.
An 11-19 record in the Sixers' last 30 games, which has dropped them out of the Atlantic Division lead and accompanying No. 4 seed, has caused some folks to jump off the bandwagon.
