Odds Against Thomas Robinson, Jared Sullinger Becoming NBA Stars
Some nice pre-Final Four NBA Draft reading about two of my favorite big men coming out this year. Rebounding finds a way to translate so even though there are holes, I'd bank on one of them becoming a very good NBA player, if not both. There's also an Evan Turner nugget there that I found somewhat irksome, contending that Turner was only the 2nd overall pick because he was surrounded by shooters who let him dominate the ball, while Greg Monroe fell to 7 because Georgetown lost to Ohio in the first round. He also mentions Turner's perimeter defense is a weakness for both Turner and the Sixers. I don't agree with that part especially, but there's also the Monroe factor in that he's playing for a TERRIBLE Pistons team and has been able to essentially be the guy the whole time there, and Turner's had to play behind a bunch of players so far where he has, yes, struggled off the ball. I don't think either should be written off as what they are just yet. Anyway, read it. I wish one of Kansas or OSU could beat Kentucky but I don't think it'll happen so unless Louisville gets excessively Louisvillish (LouisVILLAIN?), UK shouldn't have trouble bringing it home.
