Brand scored 14 of his team-high 20 points in the third period to key a 37-17 Sixers' edge in the quarter.

"Elton Brand was absolutely sensational tonight," Collins said.

Brand said he tried to be aggressive in the third quarter, which started with the Sixers down by six points and ended with them ahead by 14. He went 7-for-10 in the quarter as the Sixers had 13 assists on 15 field goals and no turnovers in the third.
