Sound decisions are paying off

Link to Sixers story (with Holiday, Collins video interviews) :

Here is a portion of the story:

The Sixers' 27 assists and floor-record four turnovers were a big reason they defeated the Lakers 95-90 on Monday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

The Sixers' 42 turnovers in the past six games is the lowest six-game turnover total since the NBA began tracking them in 1970-71. They are 5-1 during that span.

Perhaps most impressive is that the Sixers have four primary ball-handlers.

How worried

should we be about Hawes the rest of the year?

Hard to say. Listed as doubtful for Spurs game. Results of MRI should be released this morning. Back and Achilles issues could linger, especially in this lockout-condensed season.

Nod

that’s what I was afraid of.

Need at least one of 3 to happen then? Elton returns to form. Vucevic is surprisingly consistent here on out. Sixers bring in a rental big.

Plus if I remember from last year his injuries tend to linger. Seems like maybe he doesn’t take the best care of himself. Something to think about when resigning time comes around.

Doug Collins

Hates turnovers like the plague. Anyone see how badly he flipped out when Vucevic grabbed an offensive rebound and threw it away, seriously the maddest Ive seen him this year

I’m sure if he’d lived through the plague he’d hate that more.
