ESPN Adds Another Sixers Game To TV Schedule

The Philadelphia 76ers are now up to eight nationally televised games – all on ESPN – along with three on NBA TV. According to Tom Moore of Philly Burbs (H/T KJ Brophy), ESPN has announced that they have added the Sixers and Pacers March 14 match-up to their national broadcast schedule.

#ESPN adds #Sixers at #Pacers March 14 game to TV schedule. Still starts at 7 p.m

This is the second such announcement ESPN has made in recent weeks. They also added the Sixers/Mavs game.

The Sixers only had one nationally televised game last season, and without doing the research I would bet that the Sixers eight games – and counting – are more than the Sixers have had in the last few seasons, combined. It's amazing what winning does for a franchise. Andre Iguodala is getting All-Star consideration, the national media is writing positively about the Sixers, and they're going to be on TV all the time (six times in March alone). Don't be surprised if more Sixers games are added in the future.

I think that should classify. Most people who get ESPN get NBA TV as well.

Thank god we don’t have to hear the “sip it…..instant Korver” comments any longer.

That’s the only thing I thought of seeing Korver hit a few early threes in that last Chicago game. Sip it…it’s hot…it’s instant Korver.

All cotton

For this post right here. I wonder if any games on ESPN have ever been on the see-saw?

Happy for Zumoff. Decent team, decent broadcast partner.

I refuse to watch a game in which garbage is not turned into gold, in which all windows and doors remain unlocked, in which "a man’s rebound" is not fought for, in which a player does not "dip in" for a field goal (preferably while "in rhythm"). You all know what I’m talking about.

That was a man’s post right there.

I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, there will be no trade for Monta!

Other great color commentators: Doug Collins, Dr. Jack Ramsey, and
Steve Mix, and the greatest in NCAA Bill Raftery (all with Philly connections. Also Hubie Brown. Can anybody think of a Hubie link to Philly hoops

Thanks for making me feel old today, BPG.

Hubie was the color man for your 76ers back in the day.
