BOSS aka Lou Williams trade him?

Lou Williams aka BOSS has player option at the end of the season for about 6.4mil. I think it's a pretty safe bet that he'll opt of that deal. I would say that he'll be asking for something in Thad Young range 5 for 40mil. Does anyone wanna pay him that kind of money? Would it make sense to try and trade him? (a package with & Noci could acquire a pretty high salary player, albeit not a star) I'm not sure what kind of value he has league wide plus the fact he'll most likely opt out. We need him if we don't acquire anyone else who can score and I don't really wanna commit big time to him this off season but I also would rather not lose him for nothing.

No chance it will happen. Lou is too big of a piece for the current team. There is no way the front office is going to mess with that.

Depends on whats offered. I don’t think he gets traded either but if we get offered something really good we also have someone that can step into his minutes

I just don’t think Lou will be back next year. According to an article I read on CSNPhilly, Lou can opt out of his deal next year (Hoopshype disagrees, but whatever). He’ll want a lot more money. He knows he’s worth more and he doesn’t seem like the kind of guy to take a discount to stay in Philly. It will be interesting to see what the Sixers do.

Love the Sixers, love the Cavs. Don't sympathize, we'll win a championship someday. Someday...

I’d say he has a better chance of coming back than you think. But I still don’t think, even if the Sixers think he’s not coming back, that they’d trade him at all. Unless they get some kind of silly offer in their favor.

I’d trade him for the right price. I don’t think Lou is worth 8+ million he’ll get next season.
