Man I despised DeSean when he was in college because it felt like it wasn’t the Cal Bears that beat us it was just DeSean that beat us then I was ecstatic when the Eagles drafted him because I knew how dangerous he could be.

It was very fun to watch Dixon that year because he finally put it together it sucks that he got hurt because I think he could of gone higher in the draft, not sure if he would be starting but he wouldn’t be in a situation like he is in Pittsburgh although they got rid of that idiot OC of theres(my uncles are Steelers fans & hated him)

Let’s kill them early, put 20 points on them now, they are a joke of a team

Okay, so you didn’t say “garbage”, but I think that’s pretty close.

by PhiladelphiaEagles on Feb 11, 2012 5:23 PM PST up reply actions

At that point they were playing very badly, low percentages, no ball circulation, too many ISO, then at that point we should have killed them, we didn’t and although not being a first class team the came back and beat us

I find it amusing that people are ready to blame the coach when a player underperforms. If you are that mentally weak maybe you should be on the bench (not saying ET is, but critcising the implication.)

I think his scoring production goes down once melo and amare come back. However, I think he’s legit and is a good PG for a team that’s been missing one.

I’m tired of NY teams getting these good players out of nowhere. Call it good scouting, but I think a good amount of luck is involved too. Friggin Victor Cruz, now Jeremy Lin.

by PhiladelphiaEagles on Feb 11, 2012 5:37 PM PST up reply actions

I’ll give them Cruz but not sold on Lin the guy has had a bunch of turnovers that’s going to comeback & bite him in the butt especially when Amar’e & Melo get back since he won’t be scoring as much with those two

The Legend

by KJ Brophy on Feb 11, 2012 5:42 PM PST up reply actions

Victor Cruz is a fine, albeit annoying, player.

I’d say Lin is good, but I am nowhere near sold on him as something exceptional, especially considering the small sample and his history where absolutely nothing indicated this could be happening.
