that’s because the sixers haven’t faced any legit teams yet. We won all of our games against easy opponents and against teams that were missing crucial players. sixers aren’t actually good. No need for them to get national media attention.

Did you read the arguments, that’s how. Plus him starting puts Turner in a good role off the bench, and creates space for Iggy and Jrue. That’s also how. And he’s shown the ability to hit a big 3 when it’s needed. That’s also how.

Definitely know of the argument to start meeks over turner, and its clearly a fair argument. Im just saying that the sixers should eventually get a better shooting guard. And yes I know meeks can has the ability to hit a big 3.

Sure, and we could eventually have a better point guard. All we need to do is get rid of Jrue and get Deron williams to come here.

In fact, we could replace everyone on the roster with a better player.

Unfortunately, this is the real world. In this real world this non-fantasy-sixers team happens to be 16-6. Just enjoy it.

The usual...

…Reigning MVP Derrick Rose had 18 points and 6 assists, but that wasn’t quite enough as the Bulls hit a speedbump in their road to the Finals, losing in a heartbreaker to the 76ers, 98-82. Said coach Tom Thibodeau after the game, “Derrick played his heart out tonight, but he was suffering through a painful hangnail that really limited his game. You have to give him credit for being a real gamer out there”

Andre Iguodala also played tonight.

I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, there will be no trade for Monta!

“sixers…isn’t that the team from syracuse? Anyway, bulls didn’t have two of their best players tonight and it’s hard to win on the road. We’ll just forget this one and go back to more lebron and blake highlights. Back to you, Tim.”

has somebody hacked espn?
Iguodala outplayed Derrick Rose and stuffed a month’s worth of highlight video activity into one game. His one-handed dunks, around-the-back passes, and big 3s helped the Sixers lead the Eastern Conference-leading Bulls by 20 at the end of the third quarter.

No question about it...

This was a quality win. The Bulls were without Deng and Hamilton, but the Sixers were without their top two centers and were relying on 77 year old Tony Battie and a 6’9" 2nd round rookie playing out of position to man the middle. I’d say that’s a wash.

This is a really good basketball T-E-A-M. They play phenomenal defense, they hustle, they work their asses off, they’re unselfish, they don’t turn the ball over, and they go 10 deep (11 if you count the aforementioned Battie). None of those are traits that get you on SportsCenter, but they are traits that win games.

exactly

I think if the Sixers pull the Heat, they lose, but we match up well v the rest of the east. The Heat having LeBron essentially cancels out Iggy. Iggy can’t play an effective game while guarding and being guarded by a better version of himself. If they avoid the heat, they might have a chance of getting past the 2nd, but I hate even going down that train of thought.

Admittedly I didn’t get to see enough of the Heat game this year, but it was the third game in four nights, on the road. We played them pretty well in the playoffs and are clearly better than we were then. I kinda think we match up well enough with them as well any anyone can.

Great win but they have already proved themselves to me

I dont want to be too chastising but really anybody that needed this game to get really excited about the Sixers I just don’t get it. Sure, they haven’t played the strongest schedule but they literally could have won every game they played this year except for the game against the Heat and maybe the Knicks game although it was a 6 point game or so at one point in the last few minutes and it was the third straight game in three nights. This team is for real.
