Allen and Hawes haven’t been giving the Sixers enough inside.

“We’ve got to get more consistent, better games from Spencer and Lavoy,” Collins said Tuesday. “That’s not being critical — it’s just true.”

Allen, the starting center in six of the season’s first seven games, is averaging 4.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and shooting 36.8 percent in 20.4 minutes per game. He’s surpassed six points only once (last Wednesday in New Orleans) and doesn’t have more than five rebounds.
