I like Evan Turner's game. I really do. He is a big wing player who can handle the ball and attacks the boards. On that draft night though I really wished that Derrick Favors had become a 76er. I was wondering the other day about what the team would be like at this very moment had we drafted Favors instead of Turner.
I think that it would of changed our team up just a bit, (we would not have went big twice in the following draft so lavoy or vuce would have never been a sixer) but if we were able to pull of the same deals in this past offseason our team would be scary looking:
Derrick Favors
Andrew Bynum (damn I love typing that)
Bench: Swaggy, Spence, Thad, Vin Baker, and Jeff McInnis
We would be dominant in the paint on both sides of the floor most nights of the season. We would have great shooting, rebounding and veteran leadershipiness.
Just a thought.
