Four members of the 1982-83 championship team — Julius "Dr. J" Erving, Moses Malone, Bobby Jones and Earl Cureton — will be introduced and honored at the opener.

"I'm really hoping when our guys run out on the floor, there'll be some energy and juice in the building because there's nothing like playing at home to give you that extra spark," said coach Doug Collins.
