Column: Trade would require a little Magic

Here is the link to the column (with Collins Saturday pregame video):

http://www.phillyburbs.com/blogs/sports_columnists/tom_moore/dream-trade-would-require-more-than-a-little-magic/article_41d3ec7d-f1f2-53a3-ad5a-dcec2d4449ee.html

Here is a portion of the column:

By letting seldom-used forward Andres Nocioni ($6.65 million current salary) and starting center Spencer Hawes ($4 million) leave as unrestricted free agents, along with using the amnesty provision on starting power forward Elton Brand ($18.2 million), the Sixers could trim their projected 2012-13 payroll to $41 million on eight players.

With the salary cap at $58 million and expected to increase to about $60 million, the Sixers would have about $19 million available.
