John Hollinger's lately controversial statistical formulas seem to adore Andre Iguodala and the Philadelphia 76ers. This week, we remain in top three in his Power Rankings and have been selected as the second most likely team to make the playoffs in the eastern conference in his latest edition of Playoff Odds. Meanwhile, Atlantic division foe, Boston, actually has a shot at the lottery (thought that was interesting, regardless of how slim they are).

The standings have us just under Chicago and above Miami. The formulas say nothing about seeding and you cant argue with numbers, as Hollinger says, this is all decided by factual information and only considers statistical information alone. That being said, I agree that the Sixers are among the teams with a sure shot at the playoffs in the east and going on a limb (sarcasm) i say they are a top 3 seed barring serious injury other than the ones we have lingering now.

Still very early, obviously, just thought this would get the 76er faithful and doubtful all juiced up just the same. Digest. Discuss. Predict.
