What's your Team USA roster?

This isn't completely 76er related but one of our players might be on the roster & it is our country(or most of ours) so I was wondering what your roster would be?

Guards: Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, Dwayne Wade, & Kobe Bryant (Cut: Deron Williams, Eric Gordon, Russell Westbrook, Chauncey Billups).

Forwards: Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Chris Bosh, Andre Iguodala, Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Love, LaMarcus Aldridge (Cut: Blake Griffin, Rudy Gay, LaMar Odom)

Center: Dwight Howard (Cut: Tyson Chandler)

Most of my forwards can play multiple positions so that's why I went heavy there & light on guards & only one center. I went with bigs like Bosh, Aldridge, & Love over Griffin & Chandler because of shooting on the other side since I have a lot of scoring with my guards & forwards I put Iguodala on the team ahead of guys like Williams & Gay

So much talent - Some tough decisions here

That could only be easier if injuries keep Kobe &/or Wade out of it.

My 12 would be:

G
Chris Paul (Los Angeles Clippers);
Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers);
Derrick Rose (Chicago Bulls);
Dwyane Wade (Miami Heat);
Deron Williams (New Jersey Nets)

F
Kevin Durant (Oklahoma City Thunder);
LeBron James (Miami Heat);
Carmelo Anthony (New York Knicks);
LaMarcus Aldridge (Portland Trail Blazers);
Andre Iguodala (Philadelphia 76ers);

C
Dwight Howard (Orlando Magic);
Kevin Love (Minnesota Timberwolves);

Hardest guys to keep off are:
Blake Griffin (Los Angeles Clippers);
Chris Bosh (Miami Heat);
(Spots of Deron Williams and Andre Iguodala at risk)
I could really see the NBA lean on Coach K to bring Griffin.

Cuts:
Eric Gordon (New Orleans Hornets); Tyson Chandler (New York Knicks); Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder); Chauncey Billups (Los Angeles Clippers); Rudy Gay (Memphis Grizzlies); Lamar Odom (Dallas Mavericks);

I left Carmelo off of the roster because I really hate everything about his game. Billups is a chemistry guy and team leader, Andre Iguodala is there because I feel like he would be better at bowing to the players that are better than him than, say, Carmelo. Tyson Chandler is there because they need another solid center if they want to beat Spain (both Gasols, Ibaka).

Love the Sixers, love the Cavs. Don't sympathize, we'll win a championship someday. Someday...

Not sure about Billups. He’s pretty old. He’ll probably be in a hoveround after this season.

"If Iguodala were a legitimate "true" 17 PPG scorer, we’d be a better team. When at least 8 of those points come off the fast break, his true offensive production is a reality: 8-11 PPG." - LeQuan Glover

Also I can see Kobe opting out to rest his hand that’ll probably have to be replaced with a mechanical claw once he retires.

Good point

Before the season he said was going to play but that was also before the wrist injury so maybe he changes his mind. I think I’d either have Westbrook or Gordon replace him

He can play center & he definitely can in international ball. USA won gold last year with LaMar Odom as the starting center

I enjoy that list minus Melo.

I just feel like Iguodala and Lebron have similar skills sets.
