Is Iguodala on way to becoming an all-star?

Here is a portion of the story:
"If it happens, I'd be really excited," Iguodala said. "But me, personally, I don't know. I guess I'm pessimistic about that."
His approach is to expect it won't happen, rather than get his hopes up and be disappointed if it doesn't.
"That's how I look at it," Iguodala said. "It just depends on what do you look at as an all-star? Is it a guy that scores or makes his team better?"

he wont, not for the next 3 years. simply because lebron and carmelo play in the east. the all-star game is commonly confused for a game of the best players when it is simply an event for fun and fan satisfaction. the game is meant to break the box office and provide fans with a high flying, fast paced showcase. a player of iguodala’s defensive prowess would merely hault the show.
a player of iggy’s brand should not measure himself by all-star appearances but by appearances on the nba’s all and defensive teams.
Rant! Rant! Rant!
