There shouldn’t be NFL playoff games at the same time as Sixers game

Agreed.
at least you aren’t stuck with the Wizards’ broadcast….
“It looks like Brand traveled..”
I think everyone should be bilateral coordinated.
Hahaha, Washington in general has terrible analysts
by The Mad Hopper on Jan 14, 2012 4:24 PM PST up reply actions
at least you can get other opposing teams broadcast...
I have Dish network which only gives me Washington – Baltimore games!
I think everyone should be bilateral coordinated.
Just got in from 4 hours of football playing. Entire body is sore, I smell like Dongaila, and it’s time to watch some basketball. What’s up errbody?
Wizards won't lay down.
I wish I knew some people to play some football.
I think everyone should be bilateral coordinated.
Would’ve liked to see Iggy pass it there

I can’t wait for Collins to stop calling that
by The Mad Hopper on Jan 14, 2012 4:34 PM PST up reply actions
I hate it even more when he actually makes the shot, because then they seem to justify doing it despite it’s 13% success rate
by The Mad Hopper on Jan 14, 2012 4:36 PM PST up reply actions
To the naked eye, the Sixers have been shooting a ton better from midrange and out. A lot of that is Dre hitting a ton of shots. Jrue too.
I don’t think that’s it. I think they’re just making them so far.
by Michael Levin on Jan 14, 2012 4:45 PM PST up reply actions
He’s playing way over his head. Nice guy, but not skilled enough to be a franchise QB
by The Mad Hopper on Jan 14, 2012 4:46 PM PST up reply actions
He’s got one thing going for him. He doesn’t turn the ball over much. Can’t see him ever become accurate though.
That’s a big part of what made Donovan successful.
by Michael Levin on Jan 14, 2012 4:48 PM PST up reply actions
Agreed. I think you give him a running game and just gimmick your way through the season and he could manage. He’s just not a very good quarterback.
by Michael Levin on Jan 14, 2012 4:54 PM PST up reply actions
I predict Tebow and the Broncos gets absolutely dismantled tonight. Call me crazy.
by highwaterhello on Jan 14, 2012 4:49 PM PST up reply actions
Vuce really having a solid season so far. I’m not too surprised because I knew he’d contribute but he’s definitely exceeding expectations.
Agreed
I like what I’ve seen from him so far.

Alex Smith just confuses me. He’s had so many bad seasons, what changed?
by The Mad Hopper on Jan 14, 2012 4:58 PM PST up reply actions
There it is. Football coaches are so much more important than any other sports coaches.
by Michael Levin on Jan 14, 2012 5:00 PM PST up reply actions
Here's a question
If we have one of the better records at the all-star break do we send anyone to the actual game? I think ET & maybe Vuce go to the Rookie/Sophomore game

At the game here in d.c. Crowd is sparse, but unhappy. The wizards experience is even worse in person. Beer lines are
short, so that’s something.

which ones?
The white and red ones that said Sixers in the front… ( Iverson’s rookie year)
or the Black and white ones with the blue alternate?
I think everyone should be bilateral coordinated.
Both
But I like the black and white with the blue alternate the best.

This is just to Tanner but I feel like you can all hear it as well.
I took my pants off in front of Jacqueline and my other roommate Kevin yesterday and told them not to feel special because there are 23 people I’d do that in front of. After counting it, I sadly only got to 21 but you were one of them. Be honored.
I’d take my pants off in front of you too baby. But since I’ve done it before, you already knew this

The Knicks are a very good, if unspectacular, basketball team that, once healthy and in a rhythm, has significantly more talent than the Sixers. Whether they can beat out the Sixers for the Atlantic is one thing (I think they will) but they certainly do not “suck”.
by Michael Levin on Jan 14, 2012 6:23 PM PST up reply actions
Not really.
They don’t play defense and have two guys cary the team.

Yeah, they’re very inconsistent. They have a ton of talent on the team. But I don’t really like they’re team philosophy nor the lack of defense.

Other way around lol. 22 shots for 27 points.
Which is why when Dre “held” Melo to 27 points on 24 shots, it was actually a really good defensive performance.
