Column: Are Sixers on track to win division?
Link to column:
Here is a portion of the column:
Their three losses this season have been by a combined 13 points, while their narrowest margin of victory is eight points. Six of the first eight wins, including Friday's 120-89 thrashing of the Wizards, were by 20-plus points.
The games are going to get closer. The Sixers need to find a way to win their share of the down-to-the-wire jobs.
I'll give the Sixers a pass for Wednesday's 85-79 loss to the Knicks at Madison Square Garden. They were playing their third game in three nights — and fifth in six — while New York was off Tuesday. It wasn't a fair fight.

You forgot they were without Hawes.
Hawes is an intricate part to the Sixers’ offense. 10 points, 10 rebounds , 1 block and 3 assists. You need those rebounds for second chance points.
I think everyone should be bilateral coordinated.
an understandable loss, no doubt but i like what collins said. every team has these compact bunches of games this year so its no excuse. all that being said though, miami lost last night and the sixers are in good position to be atop with the title contenders in the rankings for a little while at minimum.
or so it goes ...
