Around SBN: Blake Griffin Slam Dunks: NBA Jam Style

I finally got a chance to listen to this hour+ long podcast last night and believe it's a must-listen for all NBA fans. Simmons isn't afraid to ask hard-hitting questions and Stern isn't afraid to give answers.

I'm not for choosing sides, but Stern makes some convincing arguments for the owners. Listen for yourself.

The union comes off as arrogant based on the way Stern has described the negotiations. It’s gonna be a loooong off season. But I want it this way to make NBA better going forward.

Maybe, but the players seem ignorant based on the way Stern described ’em.

Rec’d.

Simmons may be one of my favorite writers, but hard hitting journalist he ain’t.

Not to say Stern walked all over him, but I came away from that interview half ready to write my deposit for Hornets seasons tickets.

Agreed, but I give him credit for trying.

I was very happy that Stern didn’t rule out contraction. I was almost positive he would’ve shot that down.
