Here is a portion of the story for Wednesday's paper:
Harris, a leveraged-buyout specialist, was 655th on Forbes' list of the world's billionaires ($1.5 billion) in March 2010. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by an MBA at Harvard.
Harris, 46, is married with four children and lives in New York City.
Former agent/attorney Jason Levien and private equity executive David Blitzer are apparently also a part of Harris' prospective ownership group.
Levien was the Sacramento Kings' general counsel and assistant general manager until resigning in July 2010 after 18 months. As an agent, he negotiated a six-year, $80 million contract for the Chicago Bulls' Luol Deng in July 2008.
