MY OFFSEASON PLAN

1. Get a Big that can play basketball. This trade would fill two needs, kill 2 birds with 1 stone. You get a top five center in Gasol and a reliable scorer in Mayo. It would also require a sign and trade, meaning Gasol would prefer Philadelphia over Memphis.

GRIZZLIES RECIEVE: Iguodala, Speights, 2012&14 first rounders

76ERS RECIEVE: Oj Mayo and Marc Gasol

2. Draft a big.

This trade solidifies the 76ers starting line-up for years to come! The only hole would be at the power forward position, which I would look to the draft. Players with a ton of upside could fall to the sixers at number 16, here's my list with my most desired first:

Dontas Motiejunas, A Morris brother, Bismack Biyonbo, oe Tristian Thompson.(I'd grab Keith Benson from Okland in the second)

3. Resign the best player on the team.

During the Sixers' first round defeat to the Miami Heat, I was particularly impressed with Thaddeus Young. He has earned a deal around 25-30 million for 5 years.

RUSULTS:

This plan would result in the following line-up:

Jrue, Mayo, TurnerorTHAD, Brand, Gasol

With a rather impressive bench (also resigning Hawes or Sammy for cheap)

Lou, Meeks, THADorTurner/Nocioni, draft pick (perferably Motiejunas)/Brakins , and HawesorSammy/Benson

Of course, this is a highly unlikely scenario as it is too good to be true as well as the likelihood of Gasol wanting to come to Philadelphia so bad that he actually can force them into a sign and trade; but it's always good to have wishful thinking.
