(with Stefanski video on Vucevic)
Here is part of the story in Friday's paper:
Stefanski said Vucevic would be a good complement to starting power forward Elton Brand and sixth man Thaddeus Young, an undersized power forward.
Vucevic played for Kevin O’Neill at USC, which means he can handle a demanding coach — which Collins can be.
“I liked him the moment I saw him at the Chicago pre-draft camp,” said Collins in a statement. “He’s a hard-working, skilled big man with a desire to succeed. He’s a player that we’re ecstatic to have on our roster.”
Stefanski said he thinks Vucevic “will fight for some time as a rotation player” in his rookie season.
