Players not working out for Sixers makes job tougher

Here is a portion of Wednesday's blog:
Thorn admitted the Sixers would be able to make a more-informed decision if they had more information.
"In a perfect world, you would like to at least interview every player you're thinking about taking," Thorn said. "The reality is a lot of players' agents feel they are going to go higher than they will ultimately go."
Morehead State power forward Kenneth Faried, who led the nation in rebounding last season, scheduled a pair of visits, only to cancel each time. Big man Jeremy Tyler also opted not to come after initially saying he would.

how humbling it would be if....
these same guys are still sitting around waiting when the 76ers are on the clock
Jeremy Tyler cancelled? The highest that I’ve seen him slotted was 25 to Boston.

Doesn’t make sense. Same with Faried, who is also expected to go in the 20s.
Here is my brief Q & A with Thorn Tuesday on the subject:
Q: So Faried isn’t coming in (Tuesday)?
A: No. We had him scheduled a couple times.
Q: Why wouldn’t he come? No. 16 is about as high as he’s projected in the mocks.
A: You would think.
Q: How about Jeremy Tyler?
A: He cancelled on us, too.
It makes perfect sense since there’s no chance the Sixers are picking him at 16 and he won’t be there at 50.
