Going into this offseason, the Sixers should be proud of their proformence in the season.  They contested with the Eastern Confrence champions in the playoffs.  There are a lot of needs to be filled for the Sixers approaching next season.  These include a center, a shooting guard, and a power forward of the future.  With the 16th pick, there probably won't be much talent to choose from there.  Therefore, the way to get better is to trade Iguodala with the hope of creating a better team for the young players to develop in.  The team will be stuck in a void around .500 if they don't execute a big move now.

SG- The Sixers need to execute the Monta Ellis trade.  They lacked an ability to win in close games because there was no real iso players for them to go to.  Iguodala is among the worst in that category.  Monta Ellis, on the other hand, plays clutch and proved that to us when Golden State came to town.  He single handedly brought their team up form a 6 point to bring it into overtime within 20 secs.  This trade makes sense for both sides and should be executed before the draft so both teams can draft accordingly.

C-  There is not many options for the team at this position.  We don't have money in the cap to sign and there are no centers worth taking at are pick in the draft. The only hope for this position is to possibly trade someone else like Lou in the Ellis trade for either Udoh or their first round pick. It would make sense for both teams beacuse the Sixers would get a earlier first (possibly Bismack) and the Warriors get an effective sixth man who can play both the point and the shooting guard positions.

PF-  This is the most underseen need of the team.  Brand had a good season this year, but how many of them does he have left.  After an injury prone career with Sixers after being signed, one doesn't know how much longer hecan be effective on the court.  The draft proves to be useful with drafting Morris who would give the team rebounding and defense; both are needed for this team.

The ideal situation would be a trade: Andre and Lou for Monta and a first

The ideal draft (assuming trade for 11th): Bismack, Morris, and Scotty Hopson

If the Sixers canm do this, they will be a force to be reckoned with next season
