I was reading some mock drafts this fine Sunday momrning and decided that I see a pattern every year that is draft experts forgetting how much of a premium NBA gm's put on size in the NBA draft (even if it seems to defy logic). Especially in years in which the talent pool is perceived to be thin.
Why I wasted my 20 minutes over a cup of coffee over this I'll never know but should anyone care to read this, here is a mock draft I put together. I tried to make it reflective of team needs, and the premium teams will put on size.
I also do not believe Cleveland can pass on Williams with the first pick. If he and Irving are the best two players in the draft and with the teams picking 2-3 already fairly set at pg I cannot see how cleveland drafts Irving at 1 then takes a shot in the dark on a euro big man. Take williams 1st then work out a trade with minny to move up from 4 to 2' or stay put at 4 and take Irving, knight or walker if pg is what the Cavs need.
