5 Potential Draft Picks for the 6ers

WIth the lottery for the 2011 NBA Draft over and the first round now set, it's a good time to look at 5 potential players we could draft.  Also, I think if we make a move to get pick #16 it would make more sense to take Derrick Williams than Enas Kanter. Kanter is unproven and could be a total bust. Derrick Williams is a beast and flat out dominated Duke. He will be a superstar.

Markieff Morris PF Kansas 6'10 235- The lesser of the two Morris's but still a solid big man. Very versatile big man who can not only crash the boards and attack the basket, he also can hit the outside shot(42.3%)

Jimmer Fredette G BYU 6'2 195- Great outside shooter but not great size or quickness. Bottom line, if we stay at 16 and allt he good big man are taken we should think about upgrading our outside shooting with this stormin morman.

Enes Kanter PF/C Turkey 6'11 261-  A ton of potential but a ton of uncertainity as well. Dominated the Euro basketball scene since he was 15. Played in the 2009 Under 18 European Championships, where he averaged over 18 points and 16 rebounds a game. He already has knee issues at the age of 19, but nothing serious enough to keep him out of the top 5.

Derrick Williams F Arizona 6'9 240- Already proven he can dominate a game after what he did to Duke in the sweet 16. Can shoot the ball from anywhere, attack the basket quick like a point guard, but has the post up ability like a power forward. Only real weaknesses are he is a little undersized to be a power forward(though he probably is more of a SF depending on the lineup) and doesn't pass the ball very well out of double teams. Williams is the most NBA ready prospect in the draft and in my opinion a "Sure Thing".

Kenneth Faried PF Moorehead State 6'8 225- He may be undersized and play in a weak conference but he can flat ouf play. He isn't the type of player you build a team around or roll the dice on. He's the type of player you want coming off your bench. He flys after every loose ball and grabs every single rebound he can get his hands on. Good defensive player who can finish around the rim. Not really a great jump shooter but will crash the boards and is very athletic. Your not getting a All-Star but your getting a great high-energy spark plug coming off the bench.
