While team president Rod Thorn was encouraged by the Sixers' progress in a season in which they won 14 more games than the year before and returned to the playoffs, he'd like to bolster the roster.

"At the end of the day, your talent base is what's going to make you or not make you," Thorn said on Tuesday. "We're a team on the rise and have made some good strides, but we still have a ways to go.

"We're actively looking to increase our talent pool. We need as much talent that goes together as we can possibly get."
