Everyone knows I like Nocioni, which is why no one is surprised that I'm appealing that he gets PT.
Here's my attempt of using facts to convince you guys that playing Nocioni at least 10mins a game isn't so bad.
(To be clear, I am in no way saying he should start over Iguodala or that he should play ahead of Thad Young or Evan Turner. I'm just saying I don't think he should be bench fodder.)
Let's take a look at Nocioni's production in the last 20 games he's played in (in reverse order, starting with the last game against the Blazers).|

As you can see, most of the time Noce gets considerable PT, he is able to deliver. (warning, I'm being very simplistic with my stat analysis here)
His worst shooting nights are 0-4's and a 2-8 (in 39mins), so he's not a high volume shooter. He doesn't have a high TO ratio (he had 2 TO's in that Suns game when he played 41 mins). He's had ok rebounding stats even in limited time (4 rebs in 15mins, 8rebs in 23mins, 7rebs in 28mins...)
In the games when he played 15 mins or more (in our 20 game sample), the Sixers are 6-5. While some argue Sixers lost the Pistons game because of him (conveniently forgetting the missed FT's and the miracle 3), I'd argue that he had a pretty large contribution to the win over the Suns.
That being said, all I want is consistent PT for Noce. 10mins. Is that too much to ask?
