Doc Rivers on Cheeks: "He made the biggest shots in the rhythm of the game as any guard I've ever seen. When I played against him, we always called him the run stopper. He never made the game-winning shot, but in the middle of the game when the (other) team scored eight points in a row, Mo Cheeks would come down with a quick pull-up jump shot, stop the run and then get it back to Moses (Malone) and Dr. J and let them play from there."
